Hexagon

Hi there,

We're looking to buy this Victorian mosaic path:

Victorian Floor Tile Design Catalogue | Contemporary Geometric Floor Tile Designs | London Mosaic - http://www.londonmosaic.com/catalogue-victorian-and-modern-tile-design.htm#!hexagon_100_2L_v2

It would be great to get some quotes from tilers with experience of similar paths who'd be able to lay this pattern symmetrically with loose tiles. Border tiles can be cut to fit exactly and hexagons can be cut in half.

The path is 109 by 208 cm and has been prepared so no tiles to take up.

Anyone who's interested in starting next Thursday or soon after please get in touch.

Thanks!

Time's Ran Out

Did London mosaic not give you an estimate for fitting as well, we usually only supply and fit as its a more competitive price.
Next Thursday to start would almost certainly rule out an experienced geometric tiler but you never know it's only a couple of square metres. Post a picture of the prepared substrate to help with your replies.
Good luck and thanks for posting this work with tilersforums.com

You could also try and call a couple of geo tilers that are in our directory but it is quite new (week or so we opened it) so not many tilers have listed themselves yet.

Left it quite short notice though as said above.

Whoever you go for, make sure you see examples of their previous work because it's quite a specialist job that.

Please don't just take the cheapest quote & please do your homework as its not every tiler that can do this kind of work.

Yeah I don't think it would have in this case with the sudden need for it to be installed. Perhaps got let down or something but I'd just put it off rather than rushing. Perhaps we will hear back.
