I think Johnsons Cristal range did it first though.

Depends on the tile for me also, normally 2mm on walls and 3mm on floor with the exception of planks, then I always use 2mm. A grout joint is also a form of expansion joint, bear that in mind.

When we laid terrazzo tiles it was the thickness of your gauging trowel blade......... woe betide if the CoW caught you with a cheap one.

Those CoW knew their stuff though.............. I wish we still had them, CoW had great training and abilty to keep a job on progress.
