Morning! We have had Kota Blue limestone paving last week and since day 2 we have noticed shiny patchy areas all over every slab. They have never been sealed. I've seen before on a previous post about water bloom but these were sealed tiles. How can I get the patchiness removed and what is causing it?
Many thanks

you sure they didn't have shinny patches before they were laid?
didn't show until they had been washed and the dusty/dirty surface was clean.
can't see much on the pic.
if you have any left get some out and clean them and see what they look like when dry.

Thanks for your comments. No there are a matt tile. Here are some photos and I have also placed a spare tile on top for comparison.

I believe this is efflorescence and wondered if there is anything that I can put on the tile to remove the patches without ruining the tile?

You could wash over with a light alkaline ( stone specific) cleaner and a white pad. Do not use a standard patio cleaner as this may be acid based.

If only last week your bedding moisture may be migrating up through which can bring mineral salts and traces from the bed, and give a damp apperance .was this put down with sand and cement?

Was this pointed with Sand and cement or a brush in system?

Can you saturate and scrub that spare tile and see if this dries evenly.
