Dear all
Got an 8m x 10m floor to tile which is a new screed with wet UFH system (that has been tested)
I plan to use durabase matting but I've had mixed feedback as to the requirement of an expansion joint. There are no joints in the floor at the moment.
The majority opinion, so far, is the the short side i.e. 8m is on the limit of acceptable so no need for joint in the middle of the tiles. Obviously I'll leave an expansion gap around the edges.

Look forward to your opinions
Cheers

and I'm assuming the customer will be ok with 2mm spacing. I'll use the T-Lock system as this seems to give me the best results!
