Dan would it be possible to highlight the dates of the threads in the layout changes you've made, it would make it quicker to see? Cheers :)

The thread start date is there. Then if it has new posts since you last visited it, thread title is bold. Rendering the last post date and time useless and clutter.

So the ones not bold I've replied to last, the bold ones have new posts.....
