I think what ali means is did you have to split the tile to get the cut in around the doorway or did you cut at the actual door frame to slide the tile in?

One i did a month or so ago,32ish m2 , all oak skirts/doors/arcs on ,7 door openings and a big sod off oak stair case bang in the middle (well nearly, it was sround 30cm out)
When i priced it it was a empty room , he said " well it will save me getting the joiners back

I should have realised that after looking at the images and not a single black stain or mark from adhesive or grout to the oak.
