Practical Courses and Assessment

BAL regional Training Centres have become the premier operation in the UK for the training and assessment of tilers at all levels. We offer a broad range of innovative courses that provide a solid grounding in the practical and theoretical skills required to become a professional tile fixer. To date, BAL Training Centres have trained over 5000 delegates since their launch in 1992; including tiling apprentices, property developers and trade distributors.

The portfolio of tiling courses available has been tailored to provide the most up-to-date information on tiling products, specification knowledge and application skills. Requests for bespoke training programmes from companies with specific needs and requirements are also considered.

The BAL Training Centre in Stoke on Trent is endorsed by The Tile Association (TTA) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), and have been highly commended by the National Training Association (NTA).

  Demonstration and practical training when fixing in small and large areas to providing comfortable time scales, because waiting around is a problem and loss of earning.
• Hands on Underfloor Tile Heating Systems - Provide your customers with additional benefits when tiling floors.
  
  Demonstration and practical training on single wire and mat systems, overcome issues on installation, methods of preparation, tiling and commissioning.

As yet, I haven't heard from them, if or when I do I was thinking possible ufh or wetroom and uncoupling.
Don't expect to learn much, maybe I'll be surprised.

No, never been to Bal, but just seen they have a training centre just down the road from me at Croydon. I use the term 'just down the road' loosely haha a lot closer than others!
I have done the 2 day schluter wet room course tho, that was worth the effort for sure!

Their training courses are often pretty good. They've been doing them a lot longer than all these training centres. But obviously always BAL. But the benefit would spread to any brand generally of course.
