Hi I have bought a BAL tanking kit for the shower area around my bath,My question is do I use the polyester tape around my bath edge.If so do I fold it to lay a little on the bath top? Many thanks.

hyscore, yes you use the tape along the bath edge & also down the corners between walls if there is a shower.
Just lip the tape over the edge of the bath just slighly less than the thickness of your tiles i.e so that when you start tiling it will hide the tape.
Can be a bit fiddly, but well worth the effort.
If you get any tanking soloution on the bath (which you will) then it can be removed when dry with a stanley knife blade or scourer.

Put tile against the wall sitting on the bath edge, Put pencil on the bottom of tile and move along bath edge remove tile and put masking tape onto pencil line or just over then apply wp1 when done remove tape
