its all about money, if im supplying the mats i know bal is the best out there especially for wetter walls but very expensive. Toppfix is good stuff and alot cheaper.

Where do you get your waterproofing from them and how much does it cost ?

I buy it online and it is about £50 a kit. Still don't see the point in chopping and changing adhesives but that is your chice. I get White Star for £14 which is passed onto the customer. usually they are not aware of your costs anyway.

Thanks Howard. I have been through that procedure already. Unfortunately the "stockist" Ardex gave me were national chains and they don't "stock" what I actually require - though they did say they could order it in for me, but there would be no trade discount as it was special order.

I can get Ardex stuff but my supplier doesn't stock everything in the range. As yet I have not been able to source AM100, even off the 'net!
