Can Anoyone identify this membrane?
Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone can Identify this type of membrane? I believe either that or the trap in a wetroom I have looked at has failed, and have removed tiles and found this membrane.
Its either self adhesive or fit using heat, as there is no flexi between it and the former, and it is a nightmare to get up.
Anyone know the name or brand ? Im going to have to use like for like or something similar as the stuff I usually use would bring the height up too much as I am only replacing part of the floor. The whole floor is 30m2 + and Im only replacing the wet area, approx 3m2, so do not want a lip where new and old meet.
And any reccomendations on an easy way to remove existing membrane would be great.
Thanks in advance.
Sean.

Hi Sean, deffo seems to be Impey tile safe..
You need to determine where the leak is from...

Re: Can Anoyone identify this membrane?
cheers fellas.
As regarding the source of leak, the tiles were part spot fixed around the trap with a little movement on top of the membrane not being fit into trap very well. I think over the few years its been down its eventually worked its way in. Its not a huge leak, just small staining on ceiling below.
Ripped out completley a good distance around the wet area so cant forsee any problems once put back right.
Is there an easy method to remove this Impey membrane other than scraping? Seems a bit of a nightmare. Is it a good quality membrane. Or would you reccomend an other brand? Remembering the height issue.
thanks.
