Default advice please on best product for wet room

Hi guys, very confused. I've a downstairs concrete floor, brick wall (rendered & plastered) 2.5x2.3 room ready to become a proper wet room, i.e. no shower enclosure. Tray area is 1.2x.9 central drain. Going to use wet UFH system. Have read I need to use biggest tiles affordable to reduce water ingress and then different advice on what to tank i.e. just shower area, or whole room. Have looked at so many different tanking kits but can't seem to find one to suit my precise requirements, most mention plasterboard or wood floors, hence my confusion! Also I presume I put the tray in, then UFH, then tank? All advice appreciated.

Hi Mark, No the concrete floor is staying. Putting eggshell UFH system so screed over the top of that. Do I need to put tray in first? The area has already been cut out for the tray.

I would think that the Eggshell ufh refers to the type of system were boards are laid on the floor and the pipework is clipped into it. Underfloor Heating Systems - Schlüter-Systems

    Hi
The eggshell UFH we have called it as it looks like a giant empty egg carton (red) and the pipes loop within it, then a screed is laid over the top. Apparently the plumber wanted the tray area as he didn't feel he was able to do the slope and also two companies said to use wither wet room former or showerlay. So anyway, what I need to know is which product would work best, i.e. Lastogum, Bal WP1, Aquaeseal etc. Different companies seem to say theirs is the best, but then they would, that's their job! Wanting to lay UFH in next few weeks so can get screed down before Christmas. Any advice welcome
