what is best and easiest tanking membrane to use over ply deck in shower in the
Tanking & Wetrooms at TilersForums;
I have been tanking showers with mira 4180 /fleece/multicoat or similar products for years with no problem.
But now keep coming up against aquadec tilesafe membrane being specified on projects.

I have been tanking showers with mira 4180 /fleece/multicoat or similar products for years with no problem.
But now keep coming up against aquadec tilesafe membrane being specified on projects.
it takes so much longer to tank shower /non user friendly and is very expensive.
does it really do such a better job or is it just good marketing.
Cant stand using the stuff
which tanking product is deemed to be best and most cost effective on market now.
very interested in any new products that are easy to use and work well.

I use Dural WP..
Tilsafe is only good for floors..

As Dave for me, Dural WP is good stuff. Got a steam room to tank in the next couple of weeks, will be using WP.

I use a lot of Homelux wall and floor and occasionally Schluter Kerdi....
