Just tile as normal and install box after completion. No need for tanking IMO. I don't do it when I install them...

is the unit enclosed as in all the walls supplied or is it just the outer screen

Then as advised just tile as norm the unit is meant to retain all the water just make sure walls are true

i tiled a bathroom for my accountant recently and she had one of them fitted, a real posh one, a phone and a radio in it. wtf you want a phone in the shower for i don't know

you can't ring out, but if the phone rings in it switches the shower off so you can answer it. i'd rather have a shower in peace and return the call when i finished

the whole enclosure was a grand, not bad considering you'd pay near that for a normal shower tray, enclosure and shower bar etc. this one's a steam room too
