Default tanking : joints on membrane

hello and thanks for any advice in advance really appreciate it

i am constructing a wetroom i have used aqua panel throughout and intend to use a membrane on the walls either homelux or which ever you guys would recomend ? however the question i would like to ask is as the membranes appear to be only 1 metre in width how do you join two together as surely just using adhesive would surely create a weak spot ? and if i was to overlap would this not cause a potential problem with the tiles sticking ? thanks again great forum!

    Hi pippa and welcome..

You overlap the joints by a minimum of 50mm.. I use Dural WP membrane from PHG Wetrooms and they also sell all the corner tapes and internal/external corners pieces..

infact anything you will need for a wetroom..

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!!
