Mapelastic Aqua defense tanking solution is now available from PHG Wetrooms.

Ready to use, flexible, ultra rapid drying waterproofing
membrane for interior and exterior use in showers, wet
rooms and on balconies. Can be tiled after 4 hrs. For
use on screed, render, concrete, plywood and ceramic
finishes. Can be reinforced with Mapetex SEL to provide
an anti-fracture membrane.
COVERAGE:
approx. 1.3 kg/m2 per mm of thickness.
Approx 1kg per 2 coats.

i need to get some, i seen it on demo at the mapei day last week,it needs 2 coats but it's quick drying, it will work out a lot cheaper for me than buying the small kits.

i used mapeilastic on a swimming pool it was a 2 part and came with fibreglass mesh great product if this is as good it will be first class

Just to add these Aqua defence tubs are 3 times the size of the Mapeigum shower kits... 15kg big buckets and ok to open and use what you want and then reseal for another job..
PHG have an offer coming on this month with mapelastic Aqua defence.. so watch this space as it will be announced ASAP..
