    Default mapei waterproofing tape

With the advise and threads ive seen on here tanking is the way to go.
Got a Mapei kit, after looking at the instructions i was a bit concerned with use of the waterproof tape. it will be fitted to a shower tray/wall in a built in recess design.now were the short/long upright corners meet, does the tape go round the corner?
with normal tape and most things when fitting to an internal corner the tape bulges up causing a gap.would you fit one side then overlap with the other side then over lap with the wall corner piece.anybody had any experience using the tape and how they fitted it.

You need to over lap slightly to get the seal.. and then tank over the tape.. any deviance in tape smoothness , then smooth adhesive over once dry with a float .. this will flatten off ready for tiling.

you can buy corners they come in packs of two why i dont know ?

but i would not suggest you use one of them and then have a good look at the other one and maybe just take it apart and maybe just copy the pattern onto a template and maybe that might just say you some money next time maybe but i didnt suggest this ok
