Default wet room, how do you do that on a budget?

    my wet room quest
hello all, I'm a brickie who is infiltrating the world of tilers! just starting a project on me own house as I'm between sites and have a few weeks off so i thought i'd start that wet room/ toilet conversion to the bottom end of our garage i've been promising her for the past 6yrs(she said i can relive me youth and buy meself a scooter if she gets a wetroom!). so what i'm after is how much money i can save on one project gives me more funds for the other.
the room i'm doing is 1400mm by 2160mm, the shower area being 1400mm by 1000mm. the floor is to be raised with concrete, insulation etc to 250mm so drainage isn't a problem. the walls are going up in a polished block(to be watersealed) me tiles are 300mm square and she wants underfloor heating.
the best, the easiest, the quickest and dare i say CHEAPEST options please

    Welcome

Far too many options, but cheapest is not best. In my experience the more that is spent on materials in a wetroom, the better the quality and overall finish. Too many factors to give a simple answer. Best if you search the forum for each aspect of the wetroom individually.

Wet room and cheap don't go together, think of a price and then double it. No scooter for you i'm afraid.
