    Default tanking shower cubicle

I'm just about to try and waterproof a shower unit which has persistently leaked for some time. The existing tiles are sound ie not loose or hollow. I'm intending to use Norcros tanking solution on the old tiles. Norcros recommend priming with a mixture of tile cement and primer, then using the solution and tiling on top. Anyone have any comments??

I personally would not tile over tile, it would be just as easy to take off old tiles and re-board prior to tiling

Strip existing and start from the beginning. Only way to guarantee a leak free install.

Although the existing tiles sound 'sound' what damage has been done tho the substrate with the leaks, best to strip it off and start again.

As above, if you have had water behind there the tiles may only be held up by the grout. Start putting more weight on it with extra tiles and you could open a whole can of worms,
