tanking out shower onto moisture resistant p/board - advice needed!! in the

im installing a corner shower which has the green p/board stuff on 2 sides. im going to tank it with either bal or the dunlop stuff- my question is ... -

hi
im installing a corner shower which has the green p/board stuff on 2 sides. im going to tank it with either bal or the dunlop stuff- my question is do i need to prime the p/board before applying the tanking?

Hi Mark,
I have used the BAL kit quite a few times and yes you do. The kit comes with all the gumph, primer etc and very easy instructions. Easy peasy....

if you buy a kit it will tell you what to do. but yes it would normally need to be primed.

Remember the primer may take a little longer to dry because of the green board

Still longer, even though it soaks in dos'nt mean it's dry

We have a strict be nice rule here, if you don't follow it, you risk loosing your forum account.
If you have something that backs up your issue, whatever that is, then present it professionally and prove your point. If you don't have, don't wind the lads up because they can back up their claims.
