Help! Please with tanking impy wetdec
Hello please could somebody help. I am going to tile an impy wetroom and have to tank it with a black matting which came with the impy tray. I think it is bitumen based. I have never done one of these before so need as much advice as possible. The floor that goes up to the tray has had underfloor heating put down and self levelled over that. What I need to know is do I come out a metre from the back wall and up 75mm on the walls just around the tray? Do I just prime the wall in the shower area also? many thanks

Re: Help! Please with tanking impy wetdec
Thats what I thought from the things I have been looking at this evening on the internet. The ufh does stop about half a metre from the edge of the tray so wondered if I just tanked until outside of tray before ufh would that be ok?

As said the Tilesafe goes under the ufh which must not exceed 100w/m2.
Possible best option would be to return the tilesafe and use a tanking membrane such as Dura-WP.
