| Wet room | | Just looked at a wet room on a ground floor for a builder mate of mine, he has used ply on the walls, i have told him he should of used backer board or equivalent as this is water proof, he said that if i tanked it that would be fine, what do u think?  | | |

| Re: Wet room | | If you install a proper tanking system then the ply is fine, and the way i see it if the tanking fails and water leaks through then the jobs buggered whether you use ply or backerboard. | | |

| Re: Wet room | | Ideally remove and replace with water resistant board but if thats not an option Tanking will be fine. Its not hard at all ,just remember to tape the corners .Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong  | | |
