Looking for a liquid membrane in the
Tanking & Wetrooms at TilersForums;
Hi, my first post.
I'm tiling a bathroom and I'm looking to waterproof around the bath/shower area.
When removing the old tiles, I found that water had got through to ... -

There are many manufacturers who make tanking kits
Such as..
Mapei
Granfix
Weber
Bal
PCI
Ultra
and more
All do the same job, some may differ in price

Don't worry my name is Mark 
I would say if your going to do it then do it properly and make the investment now rather then later.
This kit is around £59.99 in Tile Giant and well worth the money in my opinion

Considering that I only need to waterproof 2 walls at around the bath, possibly only 1 tile up. Will these kits last several jobs?

Yeah you will get a few jobs of that size out of one kit no problem

used it lots of times on floors. Paul will be able to tell you if it would work on walls. No reason to think not though.
