does anyone know how good the guarantees are from wedi,marmox,dural,? and all the others,! has anybody heard of a wetroom instalation going wrong ? just woundering if they are as good as there words or like most makers run a mile?

Most tanking guarantees are based on actual application instructions as the majority of systems are paste / paint based.

All instructions will have a recomended thickness for aplication.

If you get a failing of tanking then the first move is for the supplier to check the application rate, if this does not meassure up to their recomendation then you have failed in aplication not their fault.


I will make this simple...................

You can not apply a liquid membrane to recomended thicknesses without testing gear so never know if you have met the recomendation for guarantee.


An off the roll physical membrane doesnt have this problem as your working with a sheet so no worries about the guarantee in that department............

There is none, you apply it as we recomend and there is no guarantee required............its bomb proof.............SIMPLE !!!!!!!!
