Default starting a wet room floor

just registered with this site and have a few questions to ask.

i have been asked to go and price a job in a gym, its 2 shower floors. They had the place tiled but due to leaks etc are looking the existing tiles ripped up a new ones replaced. the drains etc are already in place (obviously) so i dont need to worrying about installing these, just a replacement of the tiles.
i have never tiled a wet room before and was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice.

What prep work will i need to do to the floor after ive ripped up the old tiles
Whats best for priming the floor before i start to relay the new floor
if the old floor is leaking (its on the second floor of a gym) what could the problems be (so i know what to avoid this time round)

any advice at all would be appreciated as i have to give a price soon

i would make sure that all the plumbing is sound before undertaking the tiling, once you are sure its all okay, take the old tiles up flat the floors out with spf rapid check the falls are running towards the drains then use schluter kerdi matting to water proof the floors, tile with spf and grout with flex grout

Just to add to gary's post.....you need to find the cause of the leak..it could be as simple as a leaking waste pipe to incorrect waterproofing.......good luck and let us know how you get on...
