Default wet room and furniture

Hi all have been given a wet room to look at (my first) room is just under 2mx2m floor will have a former and screen to the side my concern is they want a fitted unit with back to wall toilet and sink which will be opposite the shower my concern is the furniture is usally made of mdf and although not directly in the water spray is probably going to get the odd splash and moisture just wondering what you think cheers all.

You might check to see if the furniture is made of moisture resistant MDF. Plywood would be better, but if it is store bought then there's not much you can do, but advise the client that the spray and humidity may well affect the funiture they have bought.

No worries George,

Down here we call these fixtures and fittings PC items (PRIME COST ITEMS) and I always get the client to purchase that way if I install I only have to guarantee the installation not the manufacture of the item. If it rots or warps in any way it's not my concern as the client purchased it. You main focus is the quality tiling work you do.
