I have a customer who would like tiles fixed above existing tiles and shower mixer taps fitted with a fixing for the shower head. My thought is that as the lower tiles will not have been tanked, there really is no point in myself tanking the above area, or is there ? Thoughts and opinions appreciated. Cheers | ||||||||||

Just tile it mate..........no benefit to be had from tanking the top bit.  | ||
