    Plumbers Silicon On Backerboard

    Just been round to a job where the plumber has installed a shower tray and siliconed up the edges against the backerboard (Marmox type - unsure of make) - all fine, except he has smeared it into a thin layer approx. 30mm up all the way around. Planning to tank the shower using Mapegum etc...

    Taking a floor up in a bathroom to add noggins and then overboard. Unscrewed the board and as it was coming out water came with it !! Luckily it's a warm feed for the radiators and they were off on the timer! Bloody plumbers! Home time I guess :(
