    Awesome install.

Be sure they seal the heck out of those showers - especially the first one. Showers like that may need a maintenance program to keep them in good condition.

    thank you topshop

all my stone gets sealed at least 4 applications 2 b4 grout 2 after, more if the stone is not fully saturated.

I like to see all my clients stone bathrooms once a year after install to ensure a ongoing care program keeps them in tip top condition

very nice job. travertine one of my favorite stone. Can i ask, i didnt see to much of mittered external corners on tiles?. (most of my work for past 2-3 years with mittered corners)

all corner either masons mitre or butt joints with 6mm half bull nose. honed and polished to same finish as face of tile.

for examples of 22.5° double mitre joints to form a 45° joint see my jotm entry for dec 2011

on the pewter trav job the edges on half tiled areas also half bull nosed.

I am not a fan of the eased 45° mitre joint on a external corner and would always use a masons mitre, also with a bull nosed butt joint the whole curved land is solid stone as opposed to the joint running through. the exception to this would be a 45° mitred joint filled with polyester filler tinted to match the stone and bull nosed to form a invisible join, I would still prefer a masons mitre finished the same way though.

understand Rob, you look top tiler, i am not talking only about natural stone only... (porcelain tiles also). agree easier with natural stone , you can do mitre , bull nose etc.
this TF is good, you can hear top tilers opinions, advice, help...
