Sealers...sealers!! So many to choose.

Lithofin is ok..i wont use HG
was brought up using HG then Lithofin, preffered Lithofin tbh.
Now im just using Universeal![]()

Get a hold of your rep and ask for a demo mate.

let's not get carried away with Rep speal here, they will tell you what you want to hear...
I will make this pain and simple... you cannot and will not seal stone 100% from an aerosol can, no matter what they tell you, LTP will actually tell you this but others will not...
Jason... please don;t push your products indirectly or directly as i said...
Im not using areosol Dave, as you said people have diffrent opinions on this and other things![]()

you did not say that earlier..?... i am not dissing the brand of sealer... just aerosol sealers..in general... i am a big stone fixer and take offence at making this trade cheap.. and this includes the sealing side of it.. hence my passion in this thread..
anybody reading this, plz plz do not cut costs when sealing your stone...

Going back to the original question, as the guys have said, it will depend on the brand of sealer. Have a good read through the info on the tin and if you are still not sure then give them a ring and they should be able to help out![]()

You just assumed mate when you had a pop mate.
I have used the areosol too and liked it.
The guys doing the roof coatings use spray on the slates and guarantee it, are they wrong too?
Im passionate to Dave (Wife might disagree) dont find Universeal stuff cheaper than anybodyelses, yes it saves time and money and is easier to reseal years down the line so maybe it is cheaper, point is I took acception to the CHEAP s hot you had at me about giving stone a lick with a can based on your assumption, so I have been trying to get my point accross, I thought you could give your opinion on here or am I wrong?

LOL.. you said and i quote:that to me sez aerosol... so am i being thick here when reading that..? if you want a pop then make sure you type what you mean ffs..I now use Universeal spray sealers exclusively
I am a stone fixer by profession and not a hobbiest.. so unless you can and do provide PROOF that a can seals stone to saturation point then wind ya neck in..
The pump back pack spray.
Not a hobbiest either Dave as you well know, not me that needs to wind ma neck in m8, all that ale bringing out your passion then?

maybe someone should close the thread as we don't want to be arguing , its xmas ffs![]()

Probably a good point to end it there, most likely down to things being misread and causing offense without meaning to.
No need to get argue, hey![]()
