Not a tiling person just a mear kitchen fitter but i do like travertine
Marble. Also granitestone, Verde Guatamala one of the most beautiful colours out ( I don't actually like working with it as it's hell to cut but such a beautifull deep green.

Only ever laid 2 types, Galaxy Black Granite and Carrara Marble. Of the 2 I preferred laying the granite.

MACS TILING SOLUTIONS
Each stone is with in its own I voted for tavortine for its ease to work with but I truley enjoy working with all of them all have there own challanges I njust found out I can't spell worth a crap.![]()
Favourite slate - Riverstone
Favourite limestone - Blue Moleanos (this week)
Favourite marble - Marron Imperial (good quality one though - not the rubbish with loads of white veining and off orange colours)
Favourite travertine: vein cut Noce polished.
Can't say I've got a favourite granite.
I'll probably change my mind again when I hit the Submit button.
Sandstone, tightly cemented quartzite that retains all the bedding features of the origional depositional environment. Usually aeolian or semi arid river bed. All polised up its lovely!![]()

I suppose marble if there is enough tile selection to give it a great look. But some days I like something bland that flies.
Loose pebbles![]()

love working with slate, but think travertine looks classy and granite quartz if done with the right room accesories/kitchen etc,can look tacky in small w.c's etc

For tiling I like most stone but maybe limestone edges it, then again I do like a bit of granite... oh I don't know any stone really but has to fit in with it's surroundings
