First Stone Tiling Job - Honed Slate - Which Cutter?
HI - New to this forum.
This is my first 'Hard' Tile flooring job - Laying 18mtrs 12mm Copper Honed Slate Tiles on a Conservatory Floor. I've been in Flooring for 12 years - doing Amtico and Karndean, so basics should'nt be a problem.
What I'm stuck on is which cutter to buy??
I've looked at the Cordless 12V Makita Wet Saw - whiich looks pretty compact, But, my 'tool crazy ' mind keeps looking at a Rubi Wet Saw .....
Any advice or swaying - is greatly appreciated from you seasoned Pro's.
Thanks.

Re: First Stone Tiling Job - Honed Slate - Which Cutter?
Hi mate, those makita cordless are good on ceramics, wouldnt use one on natural stone, get yourself a wet cut, depends how much tiling you are going to do, to the cost of buying a rubi, as there are some cheaper wet cutters about. good luck

We have a cheaper alternative to the Rubi rail cutter QEP yellow cutter £199.Personally I would have the Rubi if I had large format work to do long term
