    Default long term property rentals

    ive been checking this forum for a while so I thought it was time to say hi


    Im hoping to move to Spain after the summer and continue tiling out there. I would like to go somewhere near Malaga or Alicante prefrebly by a beach does anyone know of any good websites with longterm property rentals?

    Can't help you there, But what I have heard from someone in spain is some of the property's where built where they should'nt have and the threat is some may have to be knocked down because there've been built to near the beach, Somethink about spanish building laws and back handers

    ouch that doesnt sound good. as long as im not in bed when they start knockin it down

    there must be some kind of place that sorts out long term rentals for normal prices (not holiday goober rate!). I just want to rent for a year till i find my feet then I will buy.

    try www.tucasa.es you should be able to get shorthold tenancy through this site. It's a national site but is all in spanish. If you don't speak the lingo a basic dictionary should be enough to see what's available. good luck.

    Look in the Fresh directory (english directory). It has loads of different agents.
    Beware of the agents Bull**** of you have to pay 2 months finders fee as they charge the property owner for the privelage.

    I have a friend who lives in tenerife and he has properties to rent out there. If he has none available he should no of someone who has.

    Tenerife is just as bad if not worse than the UK for work as the credit crunch has hit here in a hugh way as well. I have been living here for the last two years and seen property and jobs market go in a downward spiral in that time.
