I guess most tilers would be content if they averaged somewhere around 250 a day every day. Thats not to say we can all get a job where you could earn maybe double but not every day 😂 -

The expansion on a few doors is on the wrong side of the door frame but still within the door frame. So i was hoping a 40mm overhang shouldnt really effect tile as i also have anticrack matt installed aswell -

Yeah all done. Problem is aesthetically the client wont like the fact that i cannt run tile under door without a double cut. Got a 1.8m×0.9m wall tile to look forward to that has been asked to go brickbond i wonder how much of a bow will be on the tile ☹ -

Hi all i have expansion joints that are on the wrong side of door openings. Should i recut them or will 40mm makke a difference if i go over it. Its more of a issue as im using 1m×1m tile so not so handy to replace if they crack. Floor is also ufh. Thanks charlie -

Large marble slabs

I have book matched marble to lay on floors 20mm thick and up to 2.4m long and 900 wide although the lengths can be smaller as supplier is cutting the majority of pieces to size. Tiles to ceiling pool
I had arex out to site but they maintain that because we are fixing to a ceiling it goes against building regs . Even though the adhesive should be ok they will not stand over fixing to a ceiling. -

Tiles to ceiling are a 50*50 zellige hand made tile. Height from pool deck to ceiling is approximately 2.5m. At present ceiling is the underside of a concrete slab. 2 options either prime it or apply cement board or similar. -

Yorkshire and Humber Help needed to repair damaged tile
Need 1 tile replaced in a shopping centre in Hull. I'm unable to return to replace this tile due to work commitments but have no issue covering a wage if someone can help me out as retention being held until tile is replaced . Regards Charlie.- chas
