Thanks for all the replies guys, I had only grouted 15m2 of 80m2 so stripped off the sealer and sealed remaining 65m2 with two coats of universeal rapid all in one, grouted and everything is awesome with that part of the floor, so now I’m left with 15m with this water ingress/staining ..... Will give them a ring for a chat ..... months ? Jesus wept the customer has an 80 grand kitchen going in in a few weeks.... makes my bum hole tighten worrying about it First thing I thought of this.... only saw it for first time last week, be Interested to see if any good -

On a alpha hemi at the mo, Tom mayhew screed, no laitance whatsoever, none. Obviously given it a bit of a going over with scraper and wire brush to get plaster snots off but other than that it’s ready to go, dry as a bone, anhyfix , decoupler and away -

The builder is not screwing these boards down, they are laid on top of the ufh system and glued together, Knauf specify this apparently, a heavy floating floor!!! -

Anyone Tiled on this stuff? Dry screed essentially, gypsum fibre board, it’s laid over wet underfloor heating which is laid in a board itself , that in turn is on chipboard floor, it’s 1st floor. The boards are glued together but are not fixed down so is a floating floor...... I don’t tile... -

Thanks for all your input guys, thank you Glynn for saying you would spec it out, appreciate it. I emailed the firm today to say I wouldn’t tile the mezzanine, just to big an area for something to go wrong down the line for me, personally can’t risk it, they agreed that lvt would be the way they... -

There’s the option of laying karndean or the like on the mezzanine, still 350m2 on the ground floor to tile do not too fussed if they don’t tile the first floor. My spider sense tingled so I thought I would put up the bat signal on here .
