My best mate is selling his 2002 VW Caddy if anybody is interested.

It's a minter, has been remapped and well looked after by a VW specialist. (Staffordshire VW Specialist | Staffordshire's Volkswagen Specialist | BVR Automotive is the firm selling it).

It has VAT on it though, so ideally needs to be a VAT registered firm to buy it else he's going to take a hit on it. Not sure if he'd sort a cash deal out somehow you'd have to speak to him directly perhaps.

He bought it about a year ago as he did mobile mechanics along side a long-wheel base high top VW. He used the caddy for small jobs and the big van with a huge industrial gazebo type thing for engine replacements (literally in the street he'd do it! LED lighting for night time and everything).

This van is probably the quickest Caddy I've ever seen. it's had bigger injectors on it, and then remapped with a race-map (not just a power map).

He's had a unit for 2 years now, and has just upgraded that to a huge unit with multiple ramps in it. Business is booming and he is getting a new VW Amarok (hence me getting the forum for him lol) to play in. He doesn't do mobile anymore. So he's sad to see it go but it's got to go.

Here's a rubbish photo of it (notice the nice car he's repairing in the garage - Yes, bentley are part of VW-Audi Group). If you're interested give me a shout or call him directly.

Since a kid he's worked on cars, worked for Ford from 16 and worked for VW/Audi from about 18. He's nearly 30 now and has always looked after everything he's bought.

p.s. it had a respray after he bought it as it had 2 chips in the bonnet. The big wuss.

Them caddys are in demand lately,
Iv seen a lot about as downgrades for the recession.
Quality in there for sure.
I like the newer shapes but hold money well too.

Yeah spot on Joe. To be honest I prefer the newer shape one too but they fetch loads more than the old.

No mate he doesn't buy them or anything, he just had a couple so he had two vans on the road when he did mobile. As he's static now he's got rid of them both and just keeping a VW Amarok which is a twin cab thing so good for the kids, work, dogs, mountain biking, snowboarding etc etc etc.

Van is now on eBay and I think the £2,600 was including VAT too! I got that wrong it seems!

It's now on eBay and I think (don't tell anybody this) the reserve is around the £2,200 mark. Including VAT too.
