    Default makita battery and charger

    does anyone have a makita battery and charger they no longer need and are willing to sell? my wife bought me a makita radio for xmas and i need a battery to use it when im not near a 240v . i've looked on ebay but no joy. thanks

    ive just found some now but theyre very expensive, i also need the appropriate charger and battery for my radio. i'm hoping someone on here may have the correct one. with so many different ones on ebay i'm afraid of getting sold the wrong one

    there's quite a few that fit, cluster type 9.6v 9135/9134/9122/pa09/9120
    12v 1235/1234/1222/pa12/1220
    14.4v 1435/1434/1422/pa14/1420
    18v 1835/1834/1822/pa18
    there are slide ones too but it'll take ages to write them down. would be easier for me to check the booklet if anyone has one spare. thanks again

    If you need any old makita battery, Id go for the 18v ones.

    about the cheapest 18v makita you are gonna get mate. Ive just bought a BMR100 and a battery from these guys, really good service.

    The radio takes all makita batteries, except the long (9.6V) stick batteries

    I bought a new 18v makita li ion battery before xmas £69 plus vat, they slide into the makita radios

    My makita radio eats batteries, and the power lead don't power it no more ! nice.
    i need an heavy duty docking station for my ipod on iphone.

    You all seen the DAB version? I nearly bought it, but got the bmr100 instead.



    Gary, thats the battery I bought. Have a drill with the same battery.

    sounds very expensive for the battery, i think i'll have to keep it on the 240v . thanks everyone for the replies

    i have got the Makita site radio and the sound quality is fantastic great bit of kit the 18 v lithuim batts last two days in the radio

    I did have an old 14 v set of Makita stuff but i gave it to my painter who didnt have batteries for his radio


    If anyone want my radio for £ 60 then pm me as i want to get the DAB one as i only listen to Planet rock no mains lead

    mike if its just for the radio i bought 3 copy batts of e bay and i found them to last quite well
