Half way through a project, my sewing machine has packed up.

Just a long shot to see if any of the local TF members have one I can borrow or would consider selling.

Mr GRR doesn't look impressed with me as I sit here looking at brand new sewing machines for sale in various retailers

You may find better joy on the sparky forum liz as they probably PAT test ones every year (might not do, who knows?!) lol

Plus, they have more members than here (ooOOooOooo - I'll just throw that out there and see what comes of it)

if you get one i got some socks with holes in that could do with being repaired

funnily enough, I've had 4 more replies to this thread than the same thread on EF. but curious how they have 4 pages of members online tonight as opposed to the 1 and half pages of members we've got

They had 170 sign ups yesterday, we had 70. Day after day after day this has been going on, eventually you end up with hundreds online at the same time. That forum really does pick up at 5pm and pretty much shut at 11:30-12, so you can guarantee a whole bunch of people on at that time.

It's going to be huge that forum is one day, like, really huge.

but still none of the miserable EF members have answered my thread

Sewing machine no longer needed. Mr GRR fixed it after spending the last hour stripping it apart and rebuilding it
