As I have not tiled now for a year, I think it is time to part with my wet cutter. it is a Rubi ND-200 230V 50HZ. I bought it in Spain just over 2 years ago and have used it for only 2 jobs as i never managed to get much travertine work and always used my mini plas plugs for normal tile. it has a Marcrist blade a s well as the standard green Rubi tile blade, both hardly used obviously. I paid 477 euros fro the cutter and around 80 quid for the marcrist blade. I dont just want to let it get older and older so I have decided to sell it. I have not put it in the for sale section as i am unsure as to its value being a bit distanced from tiling at the moment, could anyone help me out with a fair price for this item it is as I say practically brand new and I have the receipt although only useful to prove my purchase. Any help would be greatly received.

Well brand new it is £480 for the cutter and £80 for the marcrist as I said I have tiled one step and one hallway in porcelain so I really need £400 ,thanks.

Right now I am working part time in a casino in Manchester and I am studying full time at university to be a Physiotherapist. I enjoyed tiling and i was good at it but it is a hard life unless you are established. I didnt enjoy the hard sell of telling people why they should use you and what you are going to do for them to secure the deal. In truth I also hated the living week to week.....most people think that self employment is easy and that you are loaded...ok you get a grand one week but then maybe nothing for a while it is so unsure at times. I also dont miss the dirt and dust and constant cleaning up...but i do miss the job itself and the feeling of self worth of a job done well.

Oh by the way, I have lowered the price to 350 for the cutter

Well see why you would think that for sure, I have not been a tiler for a round a year as in a full time job working solely as a tiler I still do bits and bats and have another little plasplugs which suits me fine and 3 dry cutters. I only came on here to try and sell something...if you dont want it dont reply if you do get in touch it is really that simple.

Lighten up a little...by me or anyone else adding "anything" to this thread it bumps it up and attracts attention to your advert.....try thinking outside the box for a change.

Derek, this one is still for sale, not the same but i reckon it will be a bargain and hardly used
