The house is only 18 months old and upstairs bathroom tiles were only put down a year ago. Within a matter of months, a crack appeared which is almost the full length of the bathroom, right across at least 8-9 tiles, about 6 foot in length or so. What has caused this? Surely it can't be an expansion crack, when its a wooden upstairs floor, not a concrete floor? and is it possible to lift them? Heard upstairs tiles laid on wooden floors are nightmare to lift. Equally sounds like a nightmare tiling over them from the point of view fo the bathroom suite needing adjusting to suit the raised floor, not to mention having to shave a bit off the door etcThanks Monty - is this a
tiler's error? I got a proper
tiler in to do this - thinking this is gonna be expensive and I may need to claim through my insurance now.
