I have recently had new floor tiles laid in the kitchen. I am in UK. They have a textured surface. However, using my usual spong type squeegy mop, it does not penetrate the grooves of the texture, and the tiles are not clean. If I get on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush, more dirt comes off. Clearly, I don't want to spend my life on my knees!!! So any ideas? I read of a steam cleaner that may do the trick, but have lost the info about it. Can anyone in UK help? Thank you in advance. Please be specific - "one of those steam cleaners" isn't specific enough. Although thanks for replying. I need to know of a particular type, name, brand etc that can be recommended by someone who has one and has used it successfully. Thanks.
