Question Open Question: what's the best way to remove old grout from tiles?

before replacing it with new?My husbands got a dremmel. would that be any good? Or would the bit need replacing often?

If it is wall tile adhesive you can soak them and the adhesive will come off easily.
Floor tile cement is very hard to remove.

Sorry mis-read your question, grout can be very difficult to remove, a Professional tool such as a Fein Multitool would be up to the job but I doubt a dremmel would last long.

The actual person that asked this question posted it on the Yahoo website, and will never see any replies posted on here.

Im not really sure why we have feeds coming off from other websites.
