Our 11 year old cat was diagnosed with a urinary infection recently - and given an antibiotic etc by the vet. She's improving (though not yet her old self again). She's always used the cat-door to go outside and pee, but when she was bad with the infection, she would use corners of the kitchen - there'd be just spots. Now I'm afraid she's got into the habit of doing this because she's peeing in one of those corners regularly - then going outside.I've cleaned it up quickly, and it smells OK to me (using Fairy liquid or Jif on the porcelain tiled floor), but clearly she can still smell it and is drawn back to use it by the smell.I've tried putting kitchen foil down, but she just pees next to it. What can I use to deter her that won't harm the tiles? (Not a litter tray because we have other cats and it would be a nightmare getting them all trained again).
