Open Question: Is it a good idea to put a resin floor on a domestic kitchen?

I have a problem with uneven slate tiles and am attracted to the idea of having a sleek seamless gloss black floor. These resin floors are installed in high end car showrooms, shopping centres and restaurants. They look very good and I am wondering if anyone has installed this in domestic kitchens. They are economical for large areas, but how can they be installed at reasonable cost but still have good finish in a kitchen that is around 40m2.
