Question Open Question: What tile is the best for Tae Kwon Do breaking?

Could someone tell me where i can buy them from in the UK and how much they would cost roughly?

Roofing tiles are best for martial arts destruction breaking..any building supplier will sell them....the best ones to get are the flat marley type with no profile then you wont cut your hands as you break them.....

Granite! something will break,most probably your hand...... honestly i can't understand why people want to prove something by break things like tiles etc. I watched the shoalin monks they have things broken on them and not trivail stuff either those guys are so impressive.

Any B AND Q tiles will suffice-won't hurt your hand or head and they won't guarantee shade differences,calibration or quality

Topps have a nice range of 10 x 10 whites for 6p each. There the only things i'd try and break wiv me knuckles.

Yorkshire Stone Flags !!!! The thicker the better, at least 1000 mm thick.

If you think you can show everyone you can break something with your fist or head then do it properly, don't find the easiest thing to break.
Otherwise you could use 6mm plywood

Not recommended m8 -tried out the density on my colleague's heads a few times but the tile shattered as the density of their skulls are at least 30mm thick
