Open Question: Damproof membrane in floor?
We've just had french door fitted and there has been screed laid in the area where the old wall used to be which is lower than the walls damp proof membrane, i dont think there is any damp proof under the new section, i have laid some wooden floor tiles over this section and there is a small amount of damp starting to show, what should i do? can i just remove the floor tiles and put some liquid damp proof over the top of the screed or should i dig up the screed and put a damp proof below that, what do i do about the join between the old and the new damp course under the original floor? Cheers
