Open Question: Travertine floor tiles cracking and pushing up?
We have Travertine stone floor tiles in our kitchen and they are cracking and being pushed up in a line that appears to be where pipes cross under the floor to the dishwasher. The floor has a stone base and had a levelling compound put under the tiles. Could this be due to a leak in the pipes in the concrete; due to the temperature of the pipes or something else? Any ideas before we rip up the floor? Any help much appreciated.
