hello mate i recommend using bal primer first it drys pretty quick and then just get on with your tiling, don't know about pva though not my cup of tea

Woody you will need to answer via yahoo if you wish to respond mate. ....and yes, good old PVA is mentioned again.
I think it is time the tiling world had a major marketing campaign guiding people in the right direction regarding PVA.

No I wasn't having a pop Woody. I had read through the responses on the yahoo site and a "mantenance" man suggested pva. No I don't use it myself, unless it is for sticking wood together.

PVA is the devils primer DONT USE IT!!!!
poly vynil acetate is designed as a glue for sticking pieces of paper together!!
when you stick a wet adhesive on top of it or water gets through and makes contact it livens the PVA ie. makes it plyable and then boom tiles on the floor!!!
always use a proper tiling primer like bal bond!!
