    An answer from yahoo;
    Most generally you can, but a few questions.. Is it shiny at all? Bright glazed tiles are never to be used on the floor..any size.You normal matte finish tiles will be fine on floors. They do call them wall tiles at times but can be used on the floor.. Almost any tile will hold weight of normal traffic if the proper technique is used in the installation. These tiles are meant to be used only in a bathroom type area, not a entry way , kitchen etc. Id have to know about your specific tile but I m willing to guess you ll be fine. Any ?? e mail me GL
