In the summer I installed a solid oak floor in my living room, unfortunately I left the spacers in and now the floor has buckled in several places, squashing the spacers to oblivion. I have scraped the plaster out and freed up the edges of the floor, there is now at least a 10mm gap all around the flooring. The floor was fixed onto lino tiles using gripfill. My question is: Will my floor subside again?
