if a tile is .400x.400mm and i need to cut it in .100x.100mm. ill get 16 .100mm tiles out of the one tile how many .400x.400mm tiles do i need to cut to get 4m2 Open Question: how many tiles do i need ? for the full Yahoo Question / Answer. | ||||||||||

100 tiles, it makes no difference that your cutting a larger tile into smaller pieces, if the are is 4m2 you need 100 40 x 40 tiles to cover the area. | ||||||||||

I would say 25 400mmx400mm tiles..you will get 16 100mm x 100mm from each tile so 25 400x400 will give you 400 100x100 tiles...... | ||
